Lockdown Loaf is a real thing.

Its safe to say that at a Kerryn and Bridy Retreat you will be treated to nourishing plant based food which will leave you feeling refreshed, lighter and nourished.

Lockdown version #1 was saturated with bread recipes and lets be straight up with our real selves…..bread doesn’t elicit feelings of lightness generally - especially when its dripping in lashings of butter right?

But, back it up this loaf is worthy of popping a button on your mom jeans. Sometimes self-care is having a cuppa and sitting down to zone out on some home baked vessels of love.

This loaf is fluffy, feels really nourishing and you can add extras like seeds and nuts to increase its nutritional value.

Hola fans! Yep, this recipe is a Chelsea Winter special and its ridiculously easy to make. All you need is a loaf tin and some love. Well, you actually need some real ingredients too but not many!!!

I replaced the white flour for wholemeal, threw some chia seeds amongst the dry ingredients and used honey with the added water instead of the white sugar. I used soda water as a beer alternative because my husband is going sober so no beersies at our place right now. Play around with the toppings too….here is the link, enjoy! B x
