The moon tells me it’s time to set new goals and embrace new beginnings…..

Heck, it’s Lockdown here in Auckland still and TBH my optimism has packed its bags and left the building often.

Buuuuuuut, boom! Welcome back Miss Opti as I embark on my Cacao Immersion training on the night of the new Luna Cycle (the new moon).

There are four main phases in the lunar cycle (the moon’s journey around the earth) - the new moon, first quarter, full moon and last quarter or final quarter. They are all symbolic of phases in our lives according to the wisdom of our ancestors.

The new moon has a super energised ‘let’s get shit done’ vibe. Everything has a cycle right? A life cycle, a season, day and night, life and death, a breath, a menstrual cycle, transformations…beginnings and endings. The start of a cycle is where we can take a refreshed and planned approach to our goals, dreams, actions, passions, purposes….

Every day is a new beginning, take a deep breath and start again

Does anything come to mind for you? What does your inner wisdom desire your action on? Does your physical, mental or spiritual health need your energy? Do you have a creative or work goal that is scratching at your heart to be given some due attention? Maybe you want to be open to more love, harmony, calm? Maybe you desire more intimacy or connection with your beloved. How do you even access this wisdom or know where to find it?

I haaaaaave already mentioned….I gosh darn leeeeerrrrrve cacao and she loves me. Aaaand in a few weeks when I finish my learnings I wanna help you to connect with loving energies within yourself. This nourishing plant medicine has many benefits but if nothing else she just wants to climb into bed with you, you little cutie and hug your nervous system.

This silky smiley chocolate goddess guides us to create space to listen and tune in to the body and our thoughts. ‘Cause, when we do this we understand ourselves better which then leads us to make the best decisions for ourselves. We can learn to heal or we can shift energies that don’t serve us. This all sounds a bit hippie-dippy I get it so I’ll pull the reins on this right now (until next post hehe).

Ok, so the new moon sets in on Tuesday 7 September 2021 in NZ and at around 7.30 pm I will be sitting with a group of enlightened folk setting our intentions and goals for the next month and cacao - my bestie plant gal will guide us.

Oh, don’t worry I’ll get keep ya’ll fully informed of my progress…..I’m a bit intense when I get a ball rolling. But part of my intention will be to learn the rich history and benefits of this powerful wee queen bean to share with others so we may all be well.
